🎯 Friends & future partners,
If you know me you know I am not one who is personally flashy or trying to inflate my brand. This means it is strange to me to put this type of document together, but I believe greatly in the power of story and I know that there are leaders out there who will need to see what is possible.
Below you will find a few case studies and videos from clients I’ve been blessed to work with. At a minimum, I hope this is an inspiration to see. Good things can be ahead! But even more-so, I pray it sparks your imagination and belief that great things can be ahead for you. It’s possible.
Onward + Upward,

GLOBAL REFORESTATION & POVERTY RELIEF
The Challenge
Help the small nonprofit Eden Reforestation Projects ($150k/year) grow into its potential:
- Present Eden Reforestation Projects to the world.
- Figure out what story they have to tell and then tell it.
- Pray it brings in new funds and corporate partners.
What We Did
- We began with the same thing we’ve done with our other clients: tell great personal stories about the heart of their work and show their hope.
- We started with a handful of videos and eventually went on retainer to do 2 videos a month.
- The videos were so helpful that we worked with them for over a decade.

Bottom line is that the work Brent did for us was critical to our growth. Our organization now has 20,000 village employees, all over the world - which is lifting them out of poverty. So, I’d say Brent’s work was world-changing.”*

THE ORDINANCE (Local Politics, National Impact)
The Challenge
To protect local families from predatory payday lenders by inspiring local city councils to enact life-changing ordinances.
What We Did
- A 30 minute film that followed a city going through the entire process.
- This we hoped would model to other cities and city councils how change could happen.
- Goal was to get it on Amazon.
- We figured out a way to tell a story that could include Democrat voices, Republican voices, Catholic Voices, and Baptist voices. It was truly special how “lines” were crossed for a common story.
- Project was funded by three groups who are very different but aligned in heart to protect the poor:
- Texas Appleseed (A community legal action group)
- Texas Catholic Conference
- Cooperative Baptist Fellowship
The Results
-
The film helped payday lending ordinances became a known model and opportunity for city councils everywhere.
-
Over 45 Texas cities enacted similar ordinances. (Report) Other states were inspired to start their own efforts as well.
-
Debt Relief was provided for millions of families living under the poverty line.
-
The film elevated a narrative that ultimately prompted the US CFPB to pass new consumer protections!

LAPD FOUNDATION
The Challenge
The LAPD Foundation was in danger of having funds and programs cut.
What We Did
- We were hired to come in and produce a video that would reframe the conversation so that funds would return and the program could continue.
- Video was shown on social media, youtube, at a Gala, and at various events around Los Angeles.
The Results
- Funds were not cut. In fact, their support increased after the video was produced.
- Partners better understood that the LAPD Foundation was truly doing good for the community. Instead of just numbers, there were now faces.

COMMUNITY FIRST! (Austin, TX)
The Challenge
To help a small nonprofit (under $2.4 mil/yr) launch a story that can help it grow into a huge community impact solution.
Before starting, the client had never worked with a professional to tell their story. It was only cell phone videos.
What We Did
- Our strategy was to do media that would create fertile ground to prompt the right conversations with future business partners, major donors, city officials, and volunteers.
- We started by telling personal stories that would introduce the heart and hope to audiences.
- Then we painted a picture of the future through a series of hero videos that included the vision for the future.
The Results
- Their nonprofit budget and support has increased 4,900% since we launched the stories, now at over $120mm per year.
- They’ve become a national model of success.
- These videos helped open doors in relationships with businesses, celebrities, and major partners and major donors like John Paul DeJoria:
- Or, Alamo DraftHouse movie theaters:
- They have now been featured in major national news outlets. (i.e. Today show).
